Epitomizing the many ardent supporters of Cleveland-style polkas, Rose Marin promoted
the music on many fronts. Rose was an active member of the Polka Boosters Club, the
Cleveland Slovenian Radio Club and the American-Slovenian Polka Foundation. Involved
also on the performing side of the business, Rose was a founding member of the Slovenian
Society Home Squeezeboxers button box club based in Euclid, Ohio, and enjoyed performing
on the button box.
